During my time at Triumph Japan, I had the privilege of working in one of the world’s most sophisticated and style-conscious markets. I was in charge of several of Triumphs brands including Valisere, C'est Ca, Sloggi and HOM.
Designing for the C’est ca brand, I focused on creating feminine, fashion-forward lingerie for women aged 21-35, balancing modernity with the elegance Japanese customers appreciate. A highlight of my time was overseeing the launch of a dedicated retail shop for my designs, bringing the collections to life in a space tailored to the brand’s aesthetic.
I was also deeply involved in adapting Valisere, a premium European lingerie brand, for the Japanese market. This involved creating two collections: one featuring timeless Leavers laces and classic embroidery motifs, and another with a contemporary twist, showcasing high-end European silks and laces. Both ranges were designed to meet the Japanese customer’s unique preferences for fit, quality, and understated elegance.
My time at Triumph Japan not only deepened my understanding of design and attention to detail but also taught me the importance of cultural nuance in crafting truly successful products.
