The Beauty of Quality That Lasts

In a fast-paced world of trend cycles and disposable fashion, there’s something incredibly grounding about quality. About pieces that stay with you—not just in your wardrobe, but in your life. They become familiar, comforting, and in many ways, deeply personal. They carry you through different chapters, and with every wear, they evoke memories—of places you’ve been, people you’ve loved, and moments you’ll never forget.

As a designer, I’ve spent years creating lingerie, nightwear, and clothing that not only looks beautiful but is made to last. And recently, while reorganising my wardrobe, I realised something: I’ve been living in my own archive. So many of the pieces I designed over the years have stood the test of time—not just in terms of durability, but in style, sentiment, and story.

Take my red satin slip, for example. I designed it years ago while living in Tokyo, using the most luxurious Italian stretch satin from Boselli. Even now, it’s one of the first things I reach for. The colour still glows with that deep, vibrant richness. The fabric still drapes like liquid. And the fit—feminine, flattering, timeless.

This slip has travelled the world with me—from the buzzing streets of Tokyo to the skyline of Shanghai, and now to my life here in Europe. It’s always in my suitcase. Whether I’m heading off for a night or a month, it’s with me. Under a dress. As a chic top beneath a sheer blouse. Or simply to sleep or lounge in. There’s nothing it can’t do.

But it’s not the only one.

Over time, I’ve realised I’ve created an entire capsule of pieces like this—quietly luxurious, incredibly wearable, and designed with real women in mind. They aren’t loud or overdesigned. They don’t chase trends. They’re modern classics. The kind of garments that make you feel confident and comfortable, year after year.

What Is Quality, Really?

We talk about quality a lot in fashion—but what does it actually mean?

To me, quality is a sum of four key things:

1. The Fabric

It starts with choosing the best materials. This slip, and many of my favourite pieces, are made with Italian stretch satin from Boselli—a fabric known for its incredible softness, subtle sheen, and the perfect amount of give for comfort without compromising on structure.

2. The Fit

Great fit doesn’t happen by accident. This slip was carefully constructed during my time in Tokyo, with meticulous pattern work to ensure it flatters the body in all the right ways. Fit is everything—it transforms how a piece looks and feels.

3. The Construction

Made to last is more than a phrase—it’s a promise. Each seam, each strap, each hem is crafted with care and precision. Nothing flimsy. Nothing rushed. Just thoughtful, enduring construction that holds up wear after wear.

4. The Design

Classic, with a twist. My aesthetic is all about timeless silhouettes that still feel modern. The red slip is proof—elegant, versatile, and never out of style. It’s not just beautiful; it’s relevant.

This is the foundation of everything I design: lasting beauty, real functionality, and the kind of subtle sophistication that never needs to shout.

A Capsule Reimagined

What began as one much-loved red slip has grown into something more—an entire collection of essentials designed with the same timeless spirit. Inspired by the pieces in my wardrobe that have quietly stood the test of time, this capsule is a celebration of lasting quality, versatile beauty, and effortless elegance.

It’s about creating pieces that move with you—pieces you’ll reach for again and again. Whether worn at home, layered under outerwear, or styled for travel, they’re designed not just to be worn, but to be lived in.

This reimagined capsule includes:

  • The original slip, now available in a rich palette of colours and a limited-edition floral print. From midnight blue and pearl to soft black and crimson spice, each one offers a modern take on a classic cut.

  • A shorter camisole version, perfect for layering under sheer tops or wearing solo when the mood is more relaxed.

  • A minimalist satin bralet with soft shaping and delicate straps—unstructured but supportive in all the right ways.

  • A French-cut panty, designed for ease, beauty, and balance—never too revealing, always just right.

  • Fluid lounge pants and bias-cut shorts, offering relaxed luxury you can slip into day or night.

  • A long slip dress, simple and striking, whether worn at home or styled with a blazer for understated drama.

All crafted in Italian stretch satin—no lace, no fuss—just pure, sensual fabric and clean lines, carefully cut and made to last.

This is quiet luxury.

Confident, considered, and deeply wearable.

These aren’t just garments. They’re companions to your days—and your stories.

Because real luxury isn’t fast.

It’s forever.
